Most recent updates (full changelog at the bottom)
I consider myself a fairly competitive player in the games I like. I’ve only been playing PBBGs for a few months and was sad to miss out on the start of some of my favorites. The launch of QS2 is a great opportunity for me to hit the ground running.
I also like to be prepared. As such, I was going to write some cheat sheets of sorts for my own… which is when I realized some of this information could be useful to people in my Village, or to beginners - whether it be to Queslar 2, Queslar in general, or even the PBBG genre.

The game rewards people for getting others to click their referral link. If you’ve already signed up, you can still try clicking my link - those of you who weren’t referred by anyone previously can still count!. It doesn’t cost you anything.
**Please consider clicking my referral link.

A lot of the information in this guide has been acquired through trial and error during the beta. I only started writing this recently, when I had already learned a ton. As such, I may be missing vital pieces of information.
Similarly, things may go out of date, be explained poorly, or just be straight up wrong.
Whatever the case, feel free to let me know - I’ll do what I can to improve it.
You’ll be able to find me under “Maloik” in the game and on Discord.

Queslar 2, like many PBBGs (Persistent Browser Based Game), involves battling NPC enemies to gain experience. You can gather resources, find and craft different kinds of equipment, and even form groups with other players to take on various content.
The game revolves around constantly upgrading your own character while re-investing your wealth into yourself and your teammates.
Make the right choices, and you will find yourself catapulted to the top of the rankings!
Character equipment can be made through Equipment Recipes. Items come with one or more of the following stats: Damage, Defense, Strength, Health, Agility and Dexterity.

There was a balance patch shortly before the end of beta. If Strength and Damage can roll equally high now, my assumption is that you will want at least one of those as T12 on every item, perhaps even both.
The spread between the other stats requires testing.
As such, I’ve removed my previous recommendation for which stats to choose.

Items can have multiple rarities, from scrap to relic. If you find an item with a high tier of a desirable stat, you can always use the Augment menu on it to upgrade it to a higher tier. I’ve only ever upgraded items to relic, with 1% on the Power Scale. As far as I know, there’s not really a reason to do anything else.

Shortly before release, there was a balance patch. It appears Strength is now the same as Damage. Whether that means your first items are all Strength + Damage remains to be seen.

Each of your item slots can be upgraded with resources. This makes them much more powerful, a good time to invest in an item slot would be when you upgrade it. This feature used to be a little bit hidden away, and upon discovering it well into beta (I was already in the top 10 BP ranking) it let me more than double my BP. You can now find this via Character > Equipped > Actions on an item slot > Slot upgrade menu.
